A few years ago I was chatting with the girls in the office
We got chatting about fake tanning and how annoying it is when your tan gets all over your bedsheets
*Cue light bulb moment*
Why does it have to be so messy?
Why do we have to wash our entire bedding after tanning?
After all, fake tanning is protecting us from laying out under Australia’s harmful UV’s. Not only that, it saves your skin from ageing rapidly. I mean c’mon.
It took a few years to develop this line of after tan wear and sheet protectors because I’m high maintenance, I mean I have high standards.
I really didn’t want my products to be made in a dodgy factory somewhere.
I eventually found an ethical manufacturer that hand makes all of my products, making them unique and of a high quality.
While in the creating stages of this line I learnt it’s predicted that one person will die from melanoma every 5 hours in Australia alone this year.
That means that melanoma is the third most common cancer in Australian women, and kills more young people in our country than any other form of cancer.
We want to help educate by breaking melanoma mythology, encouraging those to use fake tan, get your skin checked
and protect the sheets and skin you’re in with Saint Capri.
